Looks great! Drive safe and say Hi to Ann Arbor, if you get close. Digging the CB antenna! I had a magnetic antenna on my '76 Rabbit. Yes...I am a dork!
Drove out to Folsom Cars & Coffee...it was 86 degrees at 8:30 a.m.....didn't stay long. Expecting over 110 today (been like that for 3 days); expecting 2 more days over 105 at least.
Car AC has always sucked during the summers here in AZ… so we tore out the carpet and insulated the flooring with butyl/foil layer and a second layer of foam with foil. (Doing speaker replacement, then insulating doors & ceiling another weekend!)
Cleaned the carpets
Reinstalled carpets
Retrieved a trim piece from a junk yard and swapped out my beige for a charcoal black sync connection console

Haha actually not much 👌😂 less than $0.50 I think.
But found a receipt from my first roadtrip in it from 2013 inside the support for the seat bolts & under the air vent piping
😂 very. Found the air vent under the front seats sat directly on the floorboards without insulation... so the constant road heat of 120+ in the day just cooked the air. No wonder It sucked at cooling off and recirculating it, it was reheated before it left the vents!
Since I've been back I mounted the front badge, spaced the wheels out 1", got drilled and slotted rotors, swapped the stock antenna for a stubby, and put on the window vent shades. Been busy! Glad to see everyone is doing well!
