I just picked up a 2012 Ford Fiesta SE 5speed.

Today i diagnosed a bunch of electrical issues, etc.

currently the front cigarette lighter, USB and rear cigarette lighter is not working. I checked the fuse behind the passenger glove box and it appears to look good.

where else should I check now? I figured the fuse would be bad since all power ports are not working.
Thanks!

You may need to check the wiring at the main console - there are several YouTube videos that help someone take the interior panels off, but it does take quite an effort and time to accomplish this only to find a dangling connector.

However, there are other fuses, which ones did you check/replace? And - did you check the main engine bay one? The one up front?

One of the things I do to help me is to see if the horn works - if it doesn't - the front Fuse panel has the power feed to the Body Control Module - so if the Rear window defog doesn't work and the radio seems frozen, a fuse in the front fuse box may have blown.

You can do a DIY if you're up to it. But it takes time to take apart and reassemble the interior.

Thanks for the reply! I got it figured out today. It was a bad fuse as well as some wiring issues. Thank you!

Hey so what part of the wiring was the issue for you? i am having the same issue, and i swapped out the fuse and the relay but still no luck, oddly enough not getting any power to my entertainment system either.

Well…after checking all fuses and power, I decided to go way overboard and remove the entire USB,Cigarette,Sync hub out of the and clean it all up (the USB is broken) so I’m also diagnosing that. But after cleaning the cigarette lighters up they both now work fine.

the USB is damaged and I will need to order a new cable to run if I want that to work.
