But I would need two of them right? The 4 channel gives me all that I need to hook up a four channel amp with pass-through to a sub amp

Yes you would need two of them. One for the LEFT & RIGHT front and one for the LEFT & RIGHT rear. The 4 Channel is bigger so you will have a hard time finding a spot for it behind the dash, but you're welcome to give it a try.
