I decided to finally make a build thread for my Fiesta. This is what she looked like when I bought her used in 2020 with only 7800 miles on the odometer.

First thing I bought for her was a set of Blizzak Winter Tires for the winter driving.

First "mods" were LED low beam headlights, back up lights, interior lights, license plate lights, and a stubby antenna. No pics of most of the LED lights.

In the Spring of 2021 I bought the first "Major MODS" for the car. H&R Supersport 2" lowering springs, SPC EZ Cam bolts, Sparco Assetto Gara wheels in 17x7 42mm w/ Kumho Ecsta tires in 205/40ZR17, and a K&N Short Ram Intake.

Got the windows tinted shortly after.

Got some color matched bumper plugs so I could remove the front license plate holder.

Plastidipped the Rear emblems and got a Friends of Coal plate for the blacked out look.

Then it was back to winter mode.

Then in February of 2022 I decided to upgrade the stereo system because the SYNC was having major issues connecting to my phone. Went with a Sony XAV-AX8100 9" screen with Android Auto, and Powerbass OE speaker upgrades.

Then in May of 2022 I stumbled across an aftermarket cat back exhaust for the sedan after searching for a long time. aFe Power Takeda stainless catback exhaust w/ dual black tips. The stock rubber hangers were very droopy, so I tried replacing them with some stiffer red ones, but they didn't help much. So then I changed the back 2 hangers with PLM billet adjustable hangers for a better fitment against the bumper.

Decided to get some new winter wheels to mount my Blizzaks on. Went with Sparco Terra's in 15x7 40mm.

In May of 2023 I decided to upgrade the brakes and repaint the calipers and drums.

And that's it up to this point. Car currently has 24k miles on it and is in excellent condition. Only issues I've had with the car was a bad blend door actuator when I first got it. It was covered under warranty. And somehow the fuel vapor canister got busted and was causing a CEL, so I had to replace that out of pocket. She's paid off, so I've thought about trading on a new car, but I'm just gonna enjoy not having a car payment and the good gas mileage for a while. I have a few more mods planned before the year is out. I have a Euro black grill that I want to install, but I'm not happy it's going to require modification to fit, so I might just plastidip the stock grill. I want to get the rear taillights tinted too. I also have a JL Audio 12w3 sub and JL Audio 250watt Mono Amp that I need to install, along with a backup camera. Just haven't got around to doing it. Other than that, I don't really have any more mods planned for it. The GF just got a 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness and we want to lift it and put bigger wheels and tires on it and take it Overland camping. So that will get most of my attention in the next year or two. Hope you guys enjoy this thread and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. I might be a little slow responding cause I don't check the site often, but I will respond when I can. Thanks for viewing.

Could you tell us more about the aftermarket audio faceplate? Did it require a special wire harness and some other tricks to make it work? I hope that they have released a 2011 to 2013 version.

You can get a wiring harness to make the SYNC still work, but I went the cheaper route and just did the bare minimum harness to keep the steering wheel controls. I was having problems with the SYNC anyways, so I wasn't worried about keeping it. However, I can no longer access any of the other functions that were in the SYNC screen so that is kind of a downside. Right now the only buttons that work on the faceplate are the "OK" "unlock/lock" and "hazard" buttons.

Where did you find the faceplate and install kits? I had found applications for Fiesta on Crutchfield’s site. But the faceplate has been on back order for some time with no date on availability. I really want the capacitive screen.

I used the part numbers from Crutchfield and bought everything on Amazon. Shows it's still in stock on Amazon.

Awesome! I try to refrain from using them. But I am just going to have to go there. Thanks Bflaker! That’s some gold plated information that you shared right there!

I'm installing a touch screen radio, where did you get the wiring harness?

I looked up the part numbers on Crutchfield and then bought them on Amazon.
