- fiesta 2021 1.1
Noticed a problem with our 2021 three cylinder Fiesta last week which righted itself the following day but problem returned today . The car is booked in for its service next week however we called them today to report we suddenly had no acceleration and having to use much lower gears than normal on even the slightest gradient .
We are to take the car in tomorrow however we just noticed the last service was a year and exactly a week ago so it looks like we dont have the breakdown cover as it extends for a year after service . Having googled the loss of power issue its looks possible that it could be a sensor on the engine or exhaust and knowing this garage we will be charger through the nose for anything they can charge us for . We change our vehicle and buy a new one every three years and the last three vehicles have been Fords . The previous one was a Ford Ka Plus and after a few months the infernal parts of the drivers seat belt came apart and it was not possible to us the seat belt . The garage said we had to keep the car for 2 weeks while they ordered a replacement , we told them that the audible alarm was constantly heard and if we should be stopped the police would know straight away we were not wearing a functioning sea belt , apart from that we didn't feel safe driving without a seatbelt however the garage said in that that case we should not use the car , they would not supply a courteously car.
We are convinced that anything the garage fits to the car or time spent on it we will be charged for , experience has shown this to be the case , i would lie to know if sensors or fuel filer is part of the warranty so that i can at least make an argument of it this time .
TIA
