Upgrade to Automatic Headlight switch

Does anyone know if you can upgrade to automatic headlights by just changing the headlight switch?

I picked up a used auromatic switch for $12 and installed it. Changing to automatic headlamps requires no other modifications.

I too have a 2011 SES. As I recall, the 2011 did not come with an available "automatic switch." I assume the switch you installed was from a different model year. Do you recall the year? (I would like to replace my switch as well.)
