Trunk Open Warning Switch

I have a 2014 Fiesta and I keep getting a warning that the trunk is open even though it's not. It latches just fine, so I don't think it's because the latch is out of adjustment so I'm guessing it's a problem with the trunk open warning switch. The part isn't expensive online but I don't know where it's located. Is it part of the latch so that I need to remove the latch to get to it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that it is built into the latch assembly.
