Hi My Daughters car had water inside the trunk the problem was the air wing on top of trunk was loose and water got in trunk.
To fix it you need to take it off. peal off the cover inside trunk lid and to get the white grommets to come loose use a 6 point
7/16" deep well socket and extension they will pop out of trunk lid then clean all surfaces put a bead of sealer around each whole in trunk lid
and put wing back presto no more water John
