So many think the car makes all the difference, but its how the hands & feet connect to a Brain!
I prefer 20-30 mph through a trail than 100 mph on the street full of idiots!

I just think it will be very interesting to see how the performance community will view a pretty large number (compared to past small performance cars) of Fiesta ST and Foci ST mixing into the track events and local autocrosses. I think that what constitutes fast will begin to change. Balance and practicality, day to day living and driving costs are making dedicated muscle cars or track only modded cars a rarity. I will also be watching the new Ecoboost Mustang very closely! It is going to list for very close $ to the Focus ST. What a wealth of choice the buyers are going to have!

I agree, Ford is making our choices very hard when it comes to the selection in the $24k-$30k range.

I have never had a fast car. Aside from the 1989 Dodge Dakota pickup I had years ago, my Fiesta is the most powerful vehicle I've owned! The most fun I've had driving on public roads was in my 1981 Escort on some back roads near New Market, Ohio. Just the right combination of straights, tight corners, banked curves, and rolling hills.
