Hey guys,
I’m new to the forum here. I have a 2019 Fiesta SE 5 speed and I changed the clutch about 8,000 miles ago. I ordered the LUK clutch kit (Part #96700-05599829), got the flywheel resurfaced, and installed it with no issues. Once completed, the test drive went great and the clutch functions as it should.
Since the clutch has been installed though, it has been making a squealing noise when releasing the clutch in first gear. This only happens when the car is cold. Once I have been driving for a while, it goes away and there’s no noises at all.
I’m suspecting this may be the throw out bearing but I just wanted a second opinion and was also wondering if anyone else has had the same issue with this clutch kit?
