Key stuck

I have a 2014 ford fiesta and the key will not come out unless I disconnect the battery. Also it will not let me shift unless I push on a red switch under the shifter. Anyone have any ideas what to check or replace? Thank you

Is the passive anti theft system still functional once you are able to get the key out of the ignition?

How do I check that?

Standing outside of the vehicle while holding the key, When you push the lock button on the key, do all the doors lock and the horn sounds along with the exterior lights flashing once?
