Horn sounding on its own!

I have been having continuous but random problems with the car horn sounding without it being pressed.

Sometimes it will sound when the car is unattended and locked, normally at night. Other times it will sound when the steering wheel is turned. At no time is the horn pressed.
Any ideas?
