The stock controller (ECM) will just dial back any gain. This is the issue that everyone has been up against for years. Hotter cams, better flowing exhaust, bigger injectors, trick intakes, forced induction. All of it gets neutered by the stock ECM. You will probably be very disappointed after the first drive if you do the header, high flow catalyst and muffler system.
Any muffler shop could weld on a high quality performance muffler like a magnaflow or Borla and you would have all the rest of the money and time to spend on thick steak's and fresh craft brews! My bias is showing.

Yes I was thinking so myself. Like I said I'm probably done after the CAT back. Money just ain't worth it nor is a stand alone. It'll still be a fun grocery getter. Probably lucky if I even manage a gain of 10hp after intake and exaust.
