- 2017 Ford Fiesta
My car is a 2017 Fiesta 1L eco boost, mileage 24000. Recently I noticed an area of corrosion approx 5mmX4mm on the metal turbo coolant return pipe. There is no leakage of coolant and I have never had to top up coolant.
The local main Ford dealer told me that they had only seen 2 similar cases of this and neither leaked coolant. They said that the only solution was to fit a new turbo unit.
This seems a rather drastic solution . Do you think I should just carry on motoring and hope that the situation does not deteriorate.
Has anyone any experience of this.
