I found your forum and hope to find some help. Years ago I installed an aftermarket stereo, and recently had to change it. While working on it the wire I was using for the accessory touched metal and shorted out the car. I'm unable to find what messed up. Any help is greatly appreciated

Never do electrical system repair on a live circuit. Because this. You did the work. You should know what circuit you were using. If you were pulling power from a circuit other than one dedicated to the audio system all bets or guessing is off when it comes to determining what might have been damaged. If you are lucky it's just a fuse. But, honestly. Fiesta is a modern car with a very sophisticated electrical system that is easily damaged if tampered with carelessly.
