- 2016 Ford Fiesta SE 4dr Hatch
Hello,
I have been given a 2016 Fiesta SE with what I would consider the base radio. It has a sync label with a USB and Audio input. The USB will slowly charge, but neither the Audio or USB will have any interaction with the radio. When I have either plugged into my phone, the car does not see an alternative input.
I have read the manual and it should see the inputs. I also realize this is a place than can get dirt and liquid in them, so I have blown it out and also sprayed electronics cleaner and blown it out. Nothing changes.
I have not taken the console apart to see if I have a connection issue or to see about replacing that module.
My end goal is to get my phone to push audio to the car. Eventually I will upgrade the radio, but the way the dash is, you have to have a head unit on a swivel, it appears via Crutchfield options.
Thank you for any input you may have.
Powersktx.....
