2016-2020 Fiesta Interior Pull Door Handles

Anyone looking for a factory flaw correction on the 2016-2020 Ford Fiesta interior Pull handle (factory falls apart) & don't want to spend hundreds on the factory fix that requires changing out the entire door panel call me.. I have found a much cheaper and way better fix that requires less than 2 minutes to put on, comes with a lifetime warranty, and is solid, Chook 2282540298

This is a forum for Fiesta owners. I am unaware of a flaw in the door latch release mechanism.
The newer Fiestas are still under warranty. So, Ford takes care of that.
Just go ahead and post the "fix pics" in the maintenance area of the forum.
I don't understand why we would have to replace the door trim panel? The inside lever and finger cup assembly is easily separated from the pull cable.

Ok. I see what you are talking about. Does your fix make the door panel itself stronger? Or is the door pull basically weak?

The original door panel is fine.. The issue is the factory door handle that is built into the door panel is a 2 piece flimsy door handle that 1st the outer portion breaks shortly after the other piece breaks. Before the attached handle was created my service department had to replace the entire door panel.. Approx $300 + 1-2 billable hours labor.. Many repairs were folllowed by angry customers folllowed by another repair because they all break eventually. The new handle is 1 solid piece that lasts longer than the vehicle

The new handle screws directly into the existing door panel (new door panel not required) and takes 10 seconds

Okay. I was unaware that the door pull handle was a problem. I own three Fiesta's. No issues

I had a handle break a few months ago but luckily I was able to find a replacement at the local junkyard. If I ever run into it again though I'll definately hit you up!

I just bought a used 2014 Fiesta that the handle broke on and they rigged up with a long wood screw and some type of epoxy looks like crap but is functional. I'll have to check and see if they buggered the door panel up with the screw (maybe same size as the one you use possibly?) I may be hitting you up.

YES! Pull handle just broke off of driver side door 2016 S. Just ripped right off. How do I fix? Thanks!

Just had recall work done on my door latches & now a few days later my pull handle broke.

it looks like it only attaches with 2 screws, so trying to decide if I want to mess with the dealership again or just buy an non-oem from someplace
