This might be in the archives but I'll add my experience. The hazard switch worked intermittently. Sometimes it took multiple presses to turn on or off the hazards. I removed the multifunction panel from the face piece and noticed the three tabs along the bottom of the panel were broken. The button is on the face half of the panel while the contacts are on the back half. Without the tabs, there is separation between the face and back halves, sometimes enough that pressing the button doesn't put enough pressure on the contacts. My solution is to clamp the panel halves to compensate for the broken tabs. I'm not an arts and crafts type. I drilled holes into existing ears in the face half and cut slots in the back half. Then I used strands of copper wire to tie the halves together. It's been an hour but so far so good.
An alternative is to build up the round pads on the hazard switch so they sit closer to the contacts. Yeah, I'm not an arts and crafts type.
