Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone might be able to help me out, I’ve had my fiesta for just over 2 years and never had any problems until a few months ago, the cigarette lighter wasn’t working and I wanted to be able to charge my phone whilst driving. Went online and found the correct layout for my fuse box and changed the corresponding fuse, the cigarette lighter was then working, however during this process I noticed a burning smell for a few seconds resulting in my radio completely stopping, theres no power to the small display screen which used to display the date and time and nothing from the radio either, today I’ve took the silver radio head out to check for any signs of burning and can’t see anything that abnormal so my only other guess is that it’s a wiring issue? I’ve just bought a new radio and will try that when it arrives and hope that might fix it but if anyone has advice it would be greatly appreciated.
