I kept having the boot lid warning light intermittently flashing,when I know it was shut Ive just fitted a replacement boot lock but I find the battery still goes flat if the car is locked from the key tab Len

There’s a position switch inside the latch assembly. Not sure if the European market Fiesta is same as the U.S. version. You might be able to adjust your striker and get normal functionality. Worth a go before heading to the dealership parts department.
