I have a 2012 S sedan I wanna upgrade the car and the steering wheel controls to have cruise and the audio controls. I have Forscan and already enabled cruise control and adjustable speed limiter.
I took off my airbag to see if my car had any of the wiring for the audio/cc and it doesn't. Do I have to replace the entire steering wheel? Or can I just find a donor car with the controls/trim/black wiring harness? If I replace the entire steering wheel, can it be from any 2011-2019?? Or does it have to be from a 2012? I took a bunch of pics.

IN the thread for the Cruise Control conversion, the wiring harness to the Pods and the steering wheel need upgrading. You also need the wiring and wire count to support it.

Review this thread - it appears that he did have the pads and buttons - he only wanted to add on Cruise control.

In your photos they clearly are not present - in the post, the other owner upgraded the steering wheel and perhaps upgraded the wiring to it by using another harness from a wreck to snake thru to provide those extra wires to even provide the ability to even wire it up.

You can see this by the wire count - you'll need a new connector set and it's wiring to accomplish this.

It will be a labor of love; for this to work its getting into the realm of diminishing returns as you put forth the effort to work out the details.

You actually have something uniquely yours for a "blank steering wheel" is not often found these days - no cutouts on both audio and cruise helps with the esoteric s for many that use a simpler wheel often helps keep things simpler in driving. IT's the results of less distraction and less likely to cause inadvertent operation of a radio control (volume or skipping to next station or song) or activating a button on the cruise control - helps when you have kids or student drivers development as a clean-method for driving.
